Professor Stanwood is a historian of colonial America, the Atlantic world, and European overseas endeavors during the early modern era. Seminar participants are invited to discuss Professor Stanwood’s seminar paper, "Popular Cosmography in a Land of Wonders: Visions of Sixteenth-Century North America". Register by September 19 to attend and receive the pre-circulated reading.
