When getting to know a candidate or an issue during an election, we are left wondering where to go for information or how to even begin asking the right questions. This workshop will help you with this process and offer ideas on how to begin researching candidates and issues.

By the end of the workshop, participants will understand how to use open access sources and library resources to find reliable news sources and information to research candidates, issues, policies, and election and polling data.

This program is open to all eligible individuals. USC operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the university’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation or any other prohibited factor.
