We welcome all USC students to join us for the seventh annual East Asia Career Panel as part of USC Career Fest 2019. EASC panelists will discuss how they utilized their East Asian languages and area studies skills in their careers. They come from East Asia-related professions in entertainment, real estate investment, global marketing and digital content and production. The panel will be followed by a Q&A and networking opportunity. Please RSVP at least one week before the event.

Eliza Harris
Talent Agent Assistant
Vox, Inc. 
Eliza Harris is a Talent Agent Assistant at Vox, Inc. She currently works with the commercial and animation/video game teams department, connecting voice-over actors to upcoming opportunities. She has also worked for entertainment and localization companies such as DreamWorks, DreamWorks TV Animation, and Bang Zoom! Entertainment Studios.

Eliza received a B.A. in East Asian Area Studies from USC. During her time as an undergraduate, she studied abroad for a semester at Nanzan University in Nagoya, Japan through the USC Office of Overseas Studies, and completed an intensive Japanese language program at Osaka Gakuin University in Japan, both through EASC's Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship.


Eric Jung
Digital Product Manager
Disney Parks & Resorts Digital
Eric Jung is a Digital Product Manager at Disney Parks & Resorts Digital. On a daily basis, he works with teams to build mobile apps and websites that enhance the guest experience at Disney theme parks.

Eric earned a M.S. in Business Analytics from USC Marshal School of Business and received EASC's ACE-Nikaido Fellowship to conduct summer research in Japan, focusing on logistics optimization. His career tie with Japan began when he started working for the U.S. office of Nomura Securities, a major Japanese investment bank. Eric later went on to seek a new career in Tokyo for a prominent Japanese internet company Rakuten until he came back to the States to earn his masters at USC, followed by his current role at Disney.


Joshua Neill
Vice President - Investments
Gemini Rosemont Commercial Real Estate
Joshua Neill is a Vice President of Investments at Gemini Rosemont, a US based commercial real estate investment arm for Hong Kong listed Gemini Investments. In this role, he deals with acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, capital markets, and investor relations, having worked on transactions in excess of $750 million in volume. The Gemini Rosemont platform enjoys the financial backing of Sino Ocean Group and China Life Insurance and specializes in cross border deployment of institutional capital towards investment in US commercial real estate.

Joshua received his Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from the USC, with a minor in Jazz Studies, and participated in the EASC Global East Asia program, studying globalization in Shanghai and central China. During his time at USC, he took several courses on Chinese language and history.


Tatumn Walter
Marketing Project Coordinator
85°C Bakery Café HQ
Tatumn Walter is a Marketing Project Coordinator at the US headquarters for the Taiwanese company 85°C Bakery Cafe, overseeing the development and the US launch of the 85C App, as well as third-party delivery service collaborations. She has also contributed to a few special marketing projects, notably a joint promotional with Netflix and another in Bon Appetit.

Tatumn double majored in EALC (Chinese) and International Relations Global Business, focusing on development economics of the Pacific Rim. During her time at USC, she studied Chinese through EASC’s FLAS Fellowship and studied abroad in Chile to gain fluency in Spanish. She has participated as a delegate at the Air Force Academy Conference and at the Forum for American/Chinese Exchange at Stanford (FACES), and was a break-out speaker for the Tufts China-US Symposium. She received various academic scholarships including the USC Global Scholars Award and the Taiwanese Government's HuaYu Award, and attended the International Chinese Language Program, living in Taiwan for 14 months after graduation.
