Leading scholars in the fields of History, Asian Studies and Environmental Sociology will discuss a new book manuscript by Joshua Goldstein, Associate Professor of History, entitled The Remains of the Everyday: 100 Years of Recycling in Beijing. Discussants include Janet Chen, Associate Professor of History and East Asian Studies and Director of the Center for Collaborative History at Princeton University and Zsuzsa Gille, Professor of Sociology and Director of the Global Studies Program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Faculty and graduate students from USC and the community are welcome to attend.

Attendees must read the entire manuscript and actively participate in the professional development review seminar. A copy of the manuscript will be provided after we receive your RSVP
