EASC Guest Speaker Series: Shuchen Xiang and Jessica Zu

Professor Shuchen Xiang is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Foreign Philosophy at Peking University and the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies. Her books include A Philosophical Defense of Culture: Perspectives from Confucianism and Cassirer (SUNY Press, 2021) and Chinese Cosmopolitanism: The History and Philosophy of an Idea (Princeton University Press, 2023). She is the editor of The Islamic-Confucian Synthesis (Lexington Press, forthcoming) and the translator of History of Chinese Philosophy Through its Key Terms (Springer, 2020).
