Please join us for a discussion with a prestigious group of panelists who will address some challenging questions regarding diversity on boards, including:

  • Why does diversity of thought and background matter for your bottom line? How do individuals of diverse backgrounds contribute to the success of your organization?
  • How do you go about promoting diversity among boards and management of your organization? What can you do to expand the pool of qualified candidates?
  • What are some programs that can facilitate diversity on boards and what successes have we learned from them?
  • How do some investors view diversity on boards or management as part of their investment in your company?

Part of the webinar series “From Discovery to Commercialization: Valuable guidance to enhance the success of your startup” that is being presented by the USC Stevens Center for Innovation and the USC Chapter of the National Academy of Inventors. Throughout the 2020-21 academic year the webinars will cover a wide range of topics for USC researchers who are interested in exploring what it takes to have a successful startup.
