  respected and welcomed. In honor of our commitment to diversity. Mercer i
 s hosting its annual Diversity & Inclusion Summit virtually on Thursday\, 
 September 8th from 1 PM – 5 PM\, Pacific Standard Time. This event is ho
 sted by Mercer’s Racial & Ethnic Diversity business resource group.\n\nT
 he Summit is designed to give talented Black\, Hispanic\, and Native Ameri
 can students\, studying in Southern California\, the knowledge they need t
 o prepare for a career that makes a difference. Students selected to join 
 us will have the opportunity to get an inside look at the fast-paced consu
 lting services industry\, where they’ll hear about different career path
 s\, participate in workshops\, engage in discussions on cultural belonging
  in the workplace\, and network with Mercer colleagues.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\
 nThe event is open to students who self-identify as Black\, Hispanic\, or 
 Native American in their sophomore\, junior\, and senior year who attend c
 ollege/university in the United States.\n\nLegal work authorization to wor
 k in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponso
 rship now or in the future\n\nWe are accepting applications from students 
 in a variety of majors\, including Actuary Science\, Biology\, Business\, 
 Communications\, Consulting\, Economics\, Finance\, Health/Health Administ
 ration\, Mathematics\, Public Health\, Psychology/Sociology\, Statistics\,
  or related science or business major.\n\nPlease note\, to be formally con
 sidered for some internship or college entry level roles at Mercer\, they 
 may require an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above at the time of appli
 cation.\n\nWHAT’S NEXT?\nStudents interested in attending the Diversity 
 & Inclusion Summit must apply via the Mercer careers website to be conside
 red. The application deadline is Friday\, August 12th 2022\, at 11:59 PM.\
 n\nWe will review application submissions on an on-going basis. If you mee
 t minimum qualifications\, you will be contacted to complete a recorded vi
 deo interview on diversity through the online HireVue platform.\n\nStudent
 s selected to attend the Summit will receive a formal event invitation by 
 Friday August 26th. Once received\, RSVP as soon as possible by the date p
