Celia and Joe Ward-Wallace started the South LA Cafe after decades of living in a food desert. Now, they bring affordable and healthy food options to the community and take pride in the history, legacy, and future of South Central LA.

Price Professor and Associate Dean of DEI, LaVonna Lewis, and USC Vice President for Civic Engagement & Economic Partnerships, Effie Turnbull Sanders, will discuss the role of the Price School’s Social Justice Procurement initiative along with USC’s Civic Engagement initiatives.

This program is open to all eligible individuals. USC operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the university’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation or any other prohibited factor.
