Dr. Helena Chui is McCarron Professor and Chair, Department of Neurology at the University of Southern California.  She earned her M.D. at Johns Hopkins University in 1977 and completed residency and fellowship training at the University of Iowa in 1981.

She is internationally recognized for her research in Alzheimer disease and vascular cognitive impairment.  She is principal investigator of the NIA-funded Alzheimer Disease Research Center at USC.
