The Santa Clarita Valley Economic Development Corporation will be hosting a free DFARS 7012 Boot Camp on November 15, 2017. This boot camp, funded by a grant from the the United States Department of Defense (DoD) Office of Economic Adjustment (OEA), the CASCADE program of the California Governor's Office of Planning and Research (OPR), and the California Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz), is presented by California Manufacturing Technology Consulting (CMTC).

Attendees will receive information and understanding about:

• The DFARS 252.204-7012 and how it codifies the NIST 800-171 standard for DoD contractors and subcontractors
  • Safeguarding Controlled Defense Information and Cyber Incident Reporting
• Understanding Compliance
• Cyber Safeguarding of the business
• Understanding Cyber Resilience
