The recent job hiring process in the POIR Department has generated many questions from PhD students currently on the job market or who will soon embark on this process. In this CIS professionalization workshop, faculty panelists will review the job search process and give recommendations on candidates’ preparations, including strategies on preparing application materials and conducting the interview process. They will also share what they look for in candidates as members of a search committee.
