Based on the recently published book, Islamophobia in Higher Education: Combatting Discrimination and Creating Understanding, this panel will feature student affairs experts and professionals, Abiya Ahmed (Stanford University), Cassandra Garcia (Stanford University), Shafiqa Ahmadi, JD. (USC Rossier) and Mabel Sanchez (USC Rossier). Topics moderated by Darnell Cole, PhD., will include how higher education institutions can best support Muslim student communities from an intersectional lens.
