 ian of colonization who has been at the forefront of feminist and anti-rac
 ist activism in France since the 1970s. \n\n\nBorn in Paris\, she grew up 
 in the Reunion Island and Algeria\, obtained a PhD from UC Berkeley\, was 
 a Professor at Goldsmith College at the University of London and until 201
 9 held the “Chair of Global South(s)” at the Collège d’Etudes Mondi
 ales in Paris. \n\n\nShe is the co-founder of the Collective “Decolonize
  the Arts” (2018) and the author of more than 10 books on slavery\, colo
 nialism memorials and museums and decolonial feminism. Her most recent boo
 k\, The Wombs of Women. Race\, Capital\, Feminism\, was published by Duke
