The Clinical Research Informatics Program at SC CTSI & Keck Medicine of USC offers researchers access to free, self-service data discovery tools to explore patient electronic medical record data for research purposes. These tools are available to all current students, faculty and staff at USC. This training will provide an introduction to the tools and teach researchers how to:

- Query patient data from Keck and 100+ participating partner sites

- Explore and analyze de-identified data sets

- Obtain patient-level datasets for study recruitment or retrospective chart review studies
