A workshop designed to help graduate students across diverse disciplines prepare successful applications for fellowships and positions. In the morning, graduate students at all stages are welcome to attend a discussion of strategies for preparing CVs and applications led by Vanessa R. Schwartz (Director of the VSGC and Professor of Art History and History). In the afternoon break-out sessions, selected students will workshop their proposals in small groups led by faculty mentors with experience screening applications. Visiting scholars and USC scholars representing a range of disciplinary interests will lead the workshop and comment on materials submitted in advance by graduate students.
To apply, please email a CV (morning session only) or a CV, four page research statement, and a list of fellowships and grants to which you will be applying to vsri@usc.edu by September 15, 2023.
