Virtual Event

On International Women's Day, Relationship and Sexual Violence Prevention and Services (RSVP) will screen a shortened version of the 2017 documentary  "Cut: Exposing FGM Worldwide" about female genital mutilation/cutting.

After viewing the 24-minute documentary, we will have a discussion about how healthcare systems have historically been complicit in gender- and power-based harm, how they can still be harmful today, and how health professionals and students can work to undo harmful practices and attitudes ingrained in the system.
