DESCRIPTION:All members of the USC community (faculty\, staff and students)
  are invited to attend a talk in our Open Communication Series on Tuesday\,
  October 11th at 12pm – 1pm. The event will feature a conversation with Dea
 n Bay from USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism\, Dean Mel
 tzer from Keck School of Medicine\, and Dean Yortsos from USC Viterbi Schoo
 l of Engineering. Each will discuss the importance of our unifying value of
  Open Communication from their unique perspectives. They will share some of
  the ways they bring this important value to life in their school communiti
 es here at USC.\n\nDuring the conversation\, moderated by Executive Vice-Pr
 ovost Elizabeth Graddy\, you will hear an open exchange on the topic of add
 ressing communication challenges. Deans Bay\, Meltzer and Yortsos will talk
  about their experiences and efforts to create environments where people fe
 el comfortable speaking up and voicing opinions and concerns in ways that a
 llow for respectful dialogue and debate. You will also learn about resource
 s designed to help us all more actively listen and communicate with one ano
