The University of Southern California invites you to attend a virtual Covid-19 vaccine informational town hall on Wednesday, February 10th at 4 pm PST to share all of your questions and concerns about receiving the Covid-19 vaccine. 

 USC’s top medical experts answer your most pressing questions about vaccine safety, efficacy, and access. Featuring:

John Carpten, PhD is a Professor and Chair of Translational Genomics, Director, Institute of Translational Genomics, and the Royce and Mary Trotter Chair in Cancer Research at the USC Keck School of Medicine. Dr Carpten is an internationally recognized expert in genome science, and possesses unique training in multiple disciplines including germline genetics for disease risk and predisposition, somatic cancer genomics, health disparities research, cell biology, functional genomics, and precision medicine.

Joyce Richey, PhD is an Associate Professor of Physiology & Neuroscience and the Chief Diversity Officer of the USC Keck School of Medicine. Dr. Richey conducts research examining the relationship between diabetes, obesity, and hypertension, and is the Chairperson for the Los Angeles African American Diabetes Task Force. 

Richard Dang, PharmD is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at the USC School of Pharmacy. Dr. Dang’s expertise in immunizations travel health, and community health programs have led to his role as a leading advocate during the COVID-19 pandemic. He is Chair of the California Pharmacists Association COVID-19 Taskforce and is a member of the USC COVID-19 vaccine planning steering committee, California State Testing Taskforce, CDPH Immunization Branch Pharmacy Taskforce, and Adult Workgroup of the Immunization Action Coalition of Los Angeles.
