Join USC Pacific Asia Museum for an afternoon of insightful discussions with the artists, curators, and creative collaborators behind the acclaimed exhibition Mythical Creatures: The Stories We Carry. Through two engaging panel discussions, discover the ideas, stories, and creative processes that brought the exhibition to life.
Part 1: Intersections of Art, Media & Technology explores how media artists and collaborators use sound, film, engineering, and digital media to expand artistic storytelling. Hear from composer Juan Cortes Arango, filmmaker Yimeng Yuan (Departure), light sculpture artist Gautam Rangan (Four Guardians), and creative director, Jim Nista, who developed the exhibition's interactive Lily Ponds.
