Celebrate the USC Pacific Asia Museum's 50th anniversary by exploring its permanent collections in-depth with unique talks and lectures presented by the museum's curator, docents, and scholars.

 

Join curator Dr. Rebecca Hall in discovering some of the wonderful treasures from Southeast Asia in our permanent collection. This conversation will highlight Thai silverwork and other decorative objects. 

More about Dr. Rebecca Hall

Rebecca Hall is Curator at the USC Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena, CA where she curated the current special exhibition We Are Here: Contemporary Art and Asian Voices in Los Angeles. Her PhD is in Southeast Asian Art History and her research and publications focus on Buddhist art and practice in Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia. Her recent article examining Buddhist banners in Cambodia was published in the Textile Museum Journal in 2019.
