Join exhibited artists Amir H. Fallah and kate-hers RHEE as they discuss their work in an informal and intimate gallery conversation.
Following the conversation, kate-hers RHEE will lead an intergenerational, hands-on art-making workshop inspired by individual and collective mourning rituals, cross-cultural mortuary traditions, and the Korean ancestor memorial, Jesa. In remembrance of Chuseok, the Korean Harvest festival, the artist leads participants in working with paper collage to create ancestor memorial tables and different foods that one would prepare to honor their departed loved ones.
