This POSC 395 professional development event takes place on Tuesday, November 28 at 2:00 p.m. PT in the CPF office at SOS B15. POSC 395 students must attend at least two professional development events throughout the semester. 
 

Join us for a coffee talk with Mark Slavkin, the Vice President for Education at the Music Center: Performing Arts Center of Los Angeles County. Mark directs a wide range of programs and services that help advance arts education in schools and communities across Los Angeles County. Mark serves on the Executive Committee for “Arts for All: the Los Angeles County Regional Blueprint for Arts Education,” a coalition working to help all 80 local school districts in Los Angeles County bring back the arts as part of the core K-12 curriculum. Previously, Mark served on the staff of LAAMP, the Los Angeles component of the national Annenberg Challenge and is a former Los Angeles Program Officer for the Getty Education Institute for the Arts.
