This POSC 395 professional development event is on Wednesday, September 24 at 10:00 a.m. PT at the CPF office in SOS B15. The event is open to all students. Students enrolled in POSC 395 must attend at least two professional development events throughout the semester. 

 

Join us for a coffee talk with Odette Overton, Manager of Research Partnerships at Vote Rev and Vote Rev Action fund, organizations dedicated to advancing voter engagement and democracy-strengthening initiatives. 

 

Originally from Los Angeles, Odette is a first-generation college graduate with a strong background in public affairs in political engagement. She earned her B.A. in Kinesiology and Psychology from the University of Southern California and went on to complete a Master’s in Public Affairs at Princeton University. Odette has previously served as a congressional intern for former Rep. Adam Schiff, a senior research associate at Trial Partners, Inc., a California Senate Fellow, and has contributed to several political campaigns.
