This POSC 395 professional development event is on Wednesday, December 3 at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom. The event is open to all students. Students enrolled in POSC 395 must attend at least two professional development events throughout the semester.
Join us for a coffee talk with Jocelyn De La Rosa, Executive Director of California Latinas for Reproductive Justice (CLRJ), a nonprofit organization advancing Latinas' power and cultivating leadership through community organizing and education, policy advocacy, and research to achieve reproductive justice for all. Prior to her role with CLRJ, Jocelyn served as the Executive Director of Family Promise of the South Bay, a Torrance-based organization supporting families experiencing housing insecurity, and as the Executive Director of The Family Support Center, a community group providing low-cost resources and support.
With an extensive background in advocacy and nonprofit work, Jocelyn is an expert in reproductive justice, housing insecurity, and effective leadership. She holds a Master's degree in Business Management and Leadership and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology.
