This POSC 395 professional development event is on Thursday, December 5 at 10:00 a.m. PT in our office in SOS B15. POSC 395 students must attend at least two professional development events throughout the semester.

Join us for a coffee talk with Jenny Pan Hacker, the Director of Talent Acquisition and Project Recruitment at DAI, a global development company dedicated to addressing issues of governance, market inefficiencies, and instability across nearly 100 countries. In her role, Jenny is passionate about helping individuals align their careers with their desire to make a positive impact in the world.

Jenny holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication from University of California San Diego and a Master’s degree in International Development from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service. Her expertise spans various global development sectors, including crisis mitigation, democratic governance, agriculture, private sector development, economics, health services, and environmental sustainability.

Beyond her professional work at DAI, Jenny is a certified coach through JRNI and Lumia, using her coaching and mentoring skills to support junior and mid-level professionals in crafting meaningful, purpose-driven careers. She finds fulfillment in guiding others as they pursue their passion for making the world a better place.
