This POSC 395 professional development event is on Thursday, April 17th at 3:00 pm in our office in SOS B15. POSC 395 students must attend at least two professional development events throughout the semester.

Join us for a coffee talk with Annie Reyland, the Director of Operations at the Los Angeles County Democratic Party. Annie is a proud Trojan, graduating cum laude from USC in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Public Policy. She is excited to help current Trojans navigate the practice of politics. Annie specializes in fundraising, party operations, and political strategy. She has been a California State Party delegate since 2023 and was a voting Delegate to nominate Vice-President Kamala Harris at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in 2024.

As the largest local party in the country, LACDP represents over 3.1 million Democrats. Annie has been with the Party since December 2022. Before stepping into her current role, she served as Deputy Finance Director for Dr. Asif Mahmood’s congressional campaign in CA-40, where she helped raise six million dollars to challenge incumbent Young Kim.
