Join the USC Schwarzenegger Institute, USC Gould School of Law’s Energy and Environment Law Society, and Criminal Law Society, along with Public Citizen for a discussion on climate criminal prosecution. Following opening remarks from Francisca Martinez and introductory comments by Calen Garrett, Aaron Regunberg from Public Citizen and Marc Beaart from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office will delve into the concept of climate prosecution, addressing both the legal hurdles and opportunities it presents. USC's Piper Mik will moderate the discussion.
