Musician/musicologist and Pomona College professor Malachai Bandy and USC playwright Oliver Mayer discuss a new play Mayer is writing about German Baroque composer Dieterich Buxtehude. An introduction to Buxtehude's life and work; a table read of the play in progress, and a discussion about how to integrate music and dramatic action in future workshop performances.
