This program builds relationships with Africa’s next generation of storytellers, opening new pathways for growth, innovation, and global impact. Through these discussions and engagements, we seek to elevate and provide a platform for partnership and innovation. In today’s global climate, partnerships are under pressure and in need of renewal. This initiative offers a timely opportunity to strengthen collaboration, foster cross-cultural exchange, and spotlight stories that reflect the communities we come from and the world we share.

Africa is home to one of the world’s fastest-growing creative economies, driven by rich storytelling traditions, expanding digital infrastructure, and a globally connected youth demographic. For U.S. studios and producers, engaging with African creatives is a strategic opportunity, not just cultural. It offers access to new intellectual property, emerging markets, and cost-effective production, while diversifying content portfolios to meet global demand.

This program is open to all eligible individuals. USC operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the university’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation or any other prohibited factor.
