Join the USC Wrigley Institute for Environment & Sustainability for a month filled with once-in-a-lifetime, immersive learning experiences centered on urban oceans! 

 

Our info sessions will give you specific information about your class of interest, costs, the application process, and common questions about life at the Wrigley Marine Science Center.

Our 5 Maymester courses focus on understanding and solving issues in the San Pedro Channel, a unique ocean environment off the coast of one of the world’s busiest port cities. Everything takes place at the Wrigley Marine Science Center, our incredible living laboratory on Santa Catalina Island.

Maymester 2026 Dates: May 18 – June 12, 2026

  • ENST 484: Waves of Change: Unearthing Coastal Environmental Histories with Dr. Sean Fraga

  • ENST 486: Social Science Research Methods for Environmental Analysis with Drs. Monalisa Chatterjee and Brian Palmer-Rubin

Maymesters are not open to graduate students. Only undergraduates may apply (progressive degree candidates are welcome as long as you have enough undergraduate units remaining to cover the course).
