“Challenges and Opportunities in the Implementation of Population-Based Genetic Cancer Screening”
Dr. Yue Guan, Emory University School of Medicine
Dr. Guan is a Research Associate Professor and Co-Director of Precision Public Health Research Program in the Emory Rollins School of Public Health. Dr. Guan’s research work has focused on promoting population health and eliminating health inequities through effective translation of evidence-based genomic-informed programs and policies. In her talk, Dr. Guan will share her research work in population-based, genetic risk-stratified cancer screening. Her talk will highlight three key aspects: effective communication of low genomic risk, strategies for scalable and sustainable implementation at the population level, and innovative approaches to community engagement in cancer genomic services and research.
