“Treatment and Genetic Factors Underlying Risks for Subsequent Malignant Neoplasms”

Dr. Lucie Turcotte, University of Minnesota

 

Dr. Turcotte is a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Minnesota Medical School. Her research is focused on second malignancies and short and long-term outcomes in pediatric cancer survivors. In this talk, Dr. Turcotte will provide a broad overview of treatment and genetic factors and their role in subsequent cancer risk in survivors of childhood cancer.
