California pharmacy laws are increasingly specific and stringent making it challenging to keep abreast of the latest requirements. The 2018 California Pharmacy Law summit brings together notable experts on law, ethics, and the opioid epidemic to assist pharmacists in complying with the law and making ethical decisions to positively impact patient care. As a practicing pharmacist or pharmacy business owner, you’ll want to hear these practical recommendations for improving drug safety, storage, record-keeping and implementing new regulations.

Audience: Pharmacists and Pharmacy business owners interested in making sure their pharmacies meet or exceed legal and ethical requirements for pharmacy practice in California.

Goal: To provide specific updates on legislation guiding safe and ethical California pharmacy practice including opioid dispensing, marijuana distribution, and the prevention of Board of Pharmacy actions.

When: Sunday, August 19th from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
