Join us for CalFresh Day Monday, October 28 from 9 am-4 pm in TCC 224 to learn more and apply for food benefits that can total up to $192 if you qualify.
CalFresh, a federally-funded food assistance program, applies to many students, including often students who have work-study receive CalGrant A or B, have a child, or work over 20 hours per week outside of USC. Students complete an intake application in person or online then an intake call in person or over the phone before receiving an EBT benefit card, if they qualify, that can be used at locations such as Ralphs, Trader Joe’s, and Target and is reloaded monthly. Here, on Monday 10/28 from 9 am-4 pm, students have the opportunity to sit down with a County caseworker to submit an application and conduct an interview on the spot in a 30-minute interview.
