We're taking it to the (virtual) streets! Become a volunteer and spend an hour transcribing, learning, and chatting about Bunker Hill, one of Los Angeles' most iconic neighborhoods.

Using household survey cards compiled by the Works Progress Administration in 1939, the Bunker Hill Refrain project will allow researchers and the public to learn more about the inhabitants of a Los Angeles neighborhood lost to urban renewal in the mid-twentieth century.
