Prof. Bernd Resch will give a talk about “Geo-social Analytics: From Cutting-edge Research to Tangible Science Communication”. He will introduce the Geo-social Analytics Lab as a research laboratory focusing on understanding geospatial and social processes through the AI-based analysis of usergenerated digital data. The iDEAS:lab is a multifunctional outreach laboratory environment for experience-based learning. In more than 600 workshops, the iDEAS:lab has made Digital Earth (DE) content accessible to pupils and the general public alike. Martin Moser will introduce his PhD project titled as “Urban Stress in Active Mobility: A multimodal approach to evaluating cyclists’ perceived stress in urban areas”. Leveraging spatiotemporal sensor measurements, environmental features within the field of view of a person can be derived and used to better understand the environmental factors impacting the psychophysiological reaction of the human body.
