While Aviation has been part of the human experience for over 100 years, the spatial aspects associated with it, have often not been fully recognized. This presentation will explore how Aviation and spatial science have worked together for many years and how new technologies are accelerating adaptation and value. Nasos Apostolopoulos has worked for Boeing and its Jeppesen subsidiary for over 38 years. Amongst many different roles and responsibilities throughout his career, Nasos led a Global P & L team managing the product lifecycle and quality requirements for all Commercial, Military, Business/General Aviation, and Uncrewed markets for Jeppesen electronic Charting, Navigation and Geospatial Data products. These Data products are serving over 70,000 aircraft and over 300,000 Pilots worldwide.
