Goal:

  • Empower first-generation college students from low income families who are looking to achieve / increase financial stability. The presentation will follow engaging activities/dialogues in hopes that students feel comfortable talking about finance. This project will be a collaboration with First-Generation Success Plus Center and potentially other orgs that seek to financially empower their students. Additionally, my goal is to create a tangible guidebook that walks students through financial aid and financial literacy when considering their academic, professional, and personal goals

Agenda:

  • Presentation
  • Engagement - making people comfortable with talking about finance

Location: Tentatively, First-Generation Center
