About this Event
Buddhist leaders from throughout the region will convene on campus for this special dedication ceremony. Join us as we chant, meditate, and bless this sacred tree! We will meet at Tommy Trojan at 10:30, and walk to the tree (behind DAB & AHN) from there. Lunch will be served at 11:45, followed by a calligraphy demonstration and lession with Shumyo Kojima, Head Priest of Zenshuji at 1 pm (URC Fishbowl). Chanoya Tea Club will offer a tea service at 2pm.
This program is open to all eligible individuals. USC operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the university’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation or any other prohibited factor.
