About this Event
USAID's Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) team in partnership with the BHA Black Caucus is hosting the 2nd annual Black Humanitarian Experience, to highlight the careers of USAID humanitarian assistance staff.
USAID's Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) leads and coordinates the U.S. Government's disaster assistance efforts overseas. BHA responds to an average of 75 crises in more than 65 countries every year, to help people affected by disasters and conflict, deliver emergency food assistance to refugees, and give communities the tools they need to be resilient to future crises. BHA also hires staff to do a wide variety of jobs in support of humanitarian efforts such as Program Design, Evaluation and Monitoring, IT, and Training and Development.
