This event will begin with a brief introduction of actress Rita Moreno and her career in Hollywood as a Latina. Next, we will show a film screening of Rita Moreno: Just a Girl Who Decided to Go For It. We will follow-up with discussion questions regarding the stereotypes attached to Latinos in Hollywood, especially for women such as Rita. The USC's Latine Film and Media Association will contribute to the dialogue by vocalizing what they have seen and experienced in the film industry.
