Curious about what it’s like to work in a school with Michigan Education Corps? Join our internal coach and team member(s) for an in-depth look at the daily experiences of our members and the significant impact they have on students. Our discussion will cover a typical day in the life of an MEC member, highlighting the various tasks and responsibilities they undertake. We will also address common misconceptions about working in schools and how the reality often differs. Our panelists will share their initial expectations and how their experiences have shaped their understanding of the role. Additionally, we will discuss the challenges our members face and the strategies they use to overcome them. Managing classroom behaviors, scheduling interventions, and communicating with teachers are all part of the job. Our panelists will share their tips and techniques for handling these challenges! At the end of this session, you will be able to ask questions to the members and internal coach.
