Presenters:

  • Dr. Isabelle Brocas - Professor at the University of Southern California and the co-director of the Los Angeles Behavioral Economics Laboratory (LABEL) and the Theoretical Research in Neuroeconomic Decision-making (TREND) Institute. Her research revisits standard theories of decision-making and aims at better understanding how people make choices, what motivates them and what cognitive limitations prevent them from making rational choices.
  • Sacha Bazzal – Sacha graduated from Northwestern University and attended the LABEL training program in the spring 2020. She will be joining us as project specialist this year before enrolling in the Master of Science in Social Cognition at the University College London.
  • Irfan Khan – Irfan graduated from the University of Rochester and he has been attending the LABEL training program since fall 2019.
  • Wen Lu – Wen graduated from the University of Texas, Austin. She attended the LABEL training program (as a remote trainee, then as a visitor) in 2019-2020. She is now starting her PhD studies in the Economics Department at Georgia State University.

We look forward to sharing more about our programs and upcoming opportunities.
