About the Speakers
Born and raised in a family of community builders, mark! Lopez has helped lead efforts to build well informed well equipped self-advocates for the self-determination of communities in the Eastside, SELA and Long Beach with EYCEJ for over a decade. He is the 2017 recipient of the Goldman Environmental Prize.
For the past 23 years, Nsedu has served as a key spokesperson for children’s vulnerabilities and the need for their protection, conducting presentations and lectures across the country. She is a leader in the field of children’s environmental health.
