Librarians Jennifer Silverman and Michaela Ullmann will discuss what Plagiarism is, what consequences students can face when plagiarizing, and how to avoid plagiarism.

By the end of the session, students will be able to:

• Identify instances of plagiarism and consequences for plagiarism.
• Apply paraphrasing strategies in order to avoid committing plagiarism.
• Include citations/attributions when using images, visuals, graphs, etc. from outside sources.
