"Policy and Professional Practice to Enhance the Health and Well-being of Military Veterans in the Pacific Rim"
USC will host members of the Association of Pacific Rim Universities to a symposium focusing on global military veteran policy. The event will provide a forum for in-depth discussions on issues related to the health and welfare of military veterans in the Asian Pacific Rim region. Representatives of APRU universities will lead subject matter sessions on innovative action-oriented research, as well as regional and global strategies related to military veteran policy in the area.
The event aims to engage experts from the academic, research and military fields in a discussion of the top priorities regarding veterans policy that challenge the Pacific Rim. Participants will receive background materials that will prepare them for these discussions.
Hosted by USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work and USC Sol Price School of Public Policy
