Musical performance—a cappella/South Asian

Asli Baat is USC's premier competitive South Asian fusion a cappella team! Asli Baat was founded at USC in 2008 as a way for singers to share their enthusiasm for South Asian and Western music. Since then, the group has gone on to place at competitions like UC Berkeley’s Anahat, the University of Iowa’s Gathe Raho, and the ICCAs. Asli Baat’s unique blend of classical and contemporary South Asian music with Western musical styles can be found at events both on and off campus, as well as on all social media platforms and music streaming services.
