About this Event
Armenian History Month at USC is a collaborative initiative between the USC Dornsife Institute of Armenian Studies and USC’s Armenian Students Association (ASA), bringing together campus leadership, students, and the broader community for a month of cultural celebration and engagement.
All USC students, faculty, staff, and community members are invited to participate in programming throughout April 2026, beginning with the Opening Ceremony on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Hahn Plaza. This month-long celebration offers meaningful opportunities to learn about Armenian history and culture while fostering inclusion and dialogue across campus.
The Opening Ceremony will feature remarks from university leadership, including USC Provost, Andrew T. Guzman, as well as student leaders and representatives from the Institute of Armenian Studies, setting the tone for the month’s events. The program will also include guest speakers, music, a traditional Armenian dance performance, a cultural display, and light refreshments, with additional events taking place throughout the month.
This program is open to all eligible individuals. USC operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the university’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation or any other prohibited factor.
