About the Summit

Social media use, labor negotiations, and districting remain a challenging and contentious source of discussion for local leaders and policy visionaries. A Connect & Learn Series event presented by the USC Price School City/County Management Fellowship and Keenan & Associates, we are proud to have a number of luminary community leaders discuss communications, healthy negotiations, and trends in municipal districting. Join us for a series of engaging talks and roundtable discussions as we discuss many of the policy challenges and solutions being confronted by local governments today.

  • Social Media platforms have proven to powerful tool to tell your agency’s story. Our panel will discuss the best practice for engagement on Social Media Platforms, while making you aware of the challenges with Social Media with respect to the Public Records Act, Brown Act and regulating a public forum.

Be prepared for labor negotiations and get an insight on what labor groups are looking for these days to identified potential opportunities for a favorable negotiations process in advance.
