This workshop addresses some often tricky issues for email writers in professional settings. Specifically we discuss language used in requesting, suggesting, and problem solving. We focus on strategies to avoid assigning blame in problems at work or school and ways to suggest positive outcomes. Handouts with examples of language used in writing successful emails will be provided.
